Common problems of the lubrication system

1 The lubrication system can not afford oil

Gearboxes with mechanical pumps such as FL1500A often have a low inlet pressure in the gear box. The reason is often that the mechanical pump can not supply oil, the main reasons are:

1. No oil can be stored in the pump body of the old-fashioned mechanical pump. Therefore, the air pressure cannot open the check valve at the end after the operation, which prevents the oil circuit from starting. The problem can be solved by adding an oil trap at the inlet of the mechanical pump;

2. The oil pump shaft breaks:

The broken shaft of the oil pump will make the gears in the pump body unable to rotate, and naturally cannot supply oil;

3. The seal ring of the oil pump shaft is damaged:

The damaged seal ring no longer seals the cavity of the oil pump. Oil flows directly from the gap of the seal ring back to the gear box and cannot enter the lubricating oil path.

2 Low or no pressure in the lubrication system

The pressureless lubrication system is mainly:

1. The electric pump oil pump shaft coupling is damaged or the oil pump shaft is broken, so that the motor cannot drive the oil pump gear to rotate;

2. The reverse connection of the motor circuit causes the motor to turn wrong or the motor itself cannot start.

3. Too little oil in the gear box, can not absorb oil;

4. The mechanical pump does not supply oil.

3 Differential pressure sensor alarm

This problem is a very common problem in the gearboxes of heavy-duty wind power companies at present. The reason is that too many impurities in the lubricating oil block the filter element. The early gearbox is seriously blocked due to insufficient factory cleaning and contaminated lubricating oil due to packing wear.

4 The noise of the lubrication system is too loud

1. Too much oil pressure in the electric pump and too many bubbles in the oil

The performance is particularly serious on the two gearboxes, Guodian FLR1500G and FL1250.

Under the influence of high pressure and air bubbles in the oil, the operation of the electric pump makes a lot of noise. In special cases, adjusting the relief valve of the lubrication system to reduce the pressure of the pump can effectively solve this problem.

2. The exhaust pipe from the electric pump to the gear box is blocked, resulting in high filter air pressure and confusion of air bubbles;

3. The ventilation cap of the gear box is blocked, and the air pressure in the gear box is too high;

4. The pressure difference of the filter is too large;

5. The oil level in the gear box is too low, and air bubbles are sucked into the oil suction port.

1 Four-point angular contact bearing damage

The wear of the rollers and raceways of the four-point angular contact bearing will increase the gap between the rollers and the inner raceways, thereby causing the high-speed shaft to oscillate.

2 Four-point angular contact bearing outer ring rotation

The outer ring of the angular contact bearing is positioned by the pin. When the pin is too short or the pin breaks, the outer ring cannot be fixed axially and rotates, causing relative sliding friction between the outer ring of the bearing, the adjustment pad, and the end cover. As a result, the end face wear increases the axial clearance, and the high-speed shaft cross-talk phenomenon occurs.

3 The high-speed shaft round nut is loose

This is the cause of the most occurrence of high-speed shaft chattering. The loose or broken round nut locking screw will make the nut unable to lock, and loosen in the direction of the motor under the axial impact of the four-point angular contact bearing, causing the inner ring clearance of the bearing halves to become larger and larger. The series movement of the bearing inner ring often leads to the wear of the gear shaft journal, so in this case, the high-speed shaft is generally scrapped and replaced.

4 The high-speed shaft round nut is not installed in place

When the high-speed shaft is assembled, the round nut itself is not installed in place, and there is a large gap between the round nut and the inner ring of the bearing so that the round nut fails to play a positioning role.

5 The axial clearance of high-speed shaft assembly is not well controlled

1. The axial clearance of the outer ring of the high-speed shaft bearing is too large;

2. The axial clearance of the inner ring of the high-speed bearing is too large; (mainly reflected on the gearbox of the 750 and 850 series with the elastic retaining ring to fix the bearing)
