We offer all types of valve body castings, a process in which molten metal is injected or poured under high pressure into a mould containing a hollow cavity in the shape of the part to form the object into the desired shape. The solidified part is known as the casting and it is broken or ejected from the mould to complete the process. Casting is most commonly used to produce complex shapes that would otherwise be difficult or cost prohibitive to produce by other methods.
Cast metal parts are removed from the mould by injection or by breaking the mould.
The most common casting alloys can be cast using disposable moulds. Reusable moulds depend on the melting point of the alloy. If the melting point of the alloy is higher than the melting point of the mould, then reusable moulds are not an option.

With the correct valve body casting design and process, many parts can be combined into a single component - helping to reduce costs by reducing or eliminating machining, providing assembly and reducing the number of components in stock and other associated costs.
Design flexibility. Castings allow you to choose from a wide range of alloys and have the flexibility of internal and external configurations to meet your specific needs. Net shape production can sometimes be achieved so that parts can be used as castings. However, thread machining or surface finish machining is required to achieve many precision tolerances.
